Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiting Coordinator

Amber has worked in Human Resources over the past 9 years as a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist and a Leave Specialist. In these roles, she specialized in onboarding new hires and transfers as well as processing and managing roughly 700 FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) cases. She graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in Management.
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiting Coordinator, Amber is responsible for recruiting, screening, and hiring qualified staff members. She acts as a liaison with the Human Resources Department and Hiring Managers to coordinate all employment related activities. She screens all applicant resumes, sets up interviews on behalf of the hiring managers, extends verbal offers to final candidates, administers new hire documentation, and makes sure new employee records are in compliance with State regulations and company policies.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family—especially her 2 nieces and nephew. She also enjoys serving at church on Sunday afternoons and attending small group during the week with her Amplify family. Every summer she vacations in Florida and recently found her new favorite beach—Destin Beach, FL.
